Whole body Prosthetic - A Concept by Natasha Vita-More

As to my previous post of "Prosthetic Hand with Real-Time Sensory Feedback" in which Silvestro Micera of the Ecole Polytechnique Federale de Lausanne in Switzerland has recently revealed the medical innovation for the amputees. Today I am going to share with you a concept to make whole body prosthetic given by a female philosopher "Natasha Vita-More".

Natasha Vita-More has been at the fore-front for several decades and her projects such as Primo Post Human have lead the NY Times to call her “the first female philosopher of trans-humanism.”

DR. Natasha Vita-More, is also the founder and creative director of esDESIGN, the producer and host of H+TV online. Her research concerns the design aesthetics of human enhancement and radical life extension, with a focus on emerging and speculative sciences and technologies. Her conceptual future human design “Primo Post human” has been featured in Wired, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire, The New York Times, U.S. News & World Report, Net Business, Teleopolis, and Village Voice.
